Consumer Reviews Policy

Our commitment

We want reviews on FilmsJackets to give customers a fair and accurate picture of real experiences. We do not write or commission fake customer reviews.

Who may leave a review

Where technically possible, we may ask reviewers to sign in or provide information that helps us check whether a review relates to a genuine interaction or purchase. We only use a ‘verified purchase’ label when we have actually checked the purchase.

Incentivised reviews

If we offer a discount, free product, prize entry or another benefit in exchange for a review, the incentive will be disclosed clearly with the review. We will not require an incentivised review to be positive.

Moderation

We may refuse or remove content that is fake, fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, irrelevant, contains personal data, infringes rights, is spam or does not relate to the product or customer experience.

We do not remove a genuine, relevant negative review merely because it is negative.

How we address suspicious reviews

We use reasonable and proportionate checks appropriate to the volume and risk of reviews on the site. These can include order verification, duplicate detection, unusual-pattern checks, manual review and requests for additional information.

If we identify fake, concealed-incentivised or materially misleading review content, we may remove it, correct associated ratings and restrict the contributor.

If you believe a published review is fake, unlawful or misleading, contact filmsjackets@gmail.com with the review details and the reason for your concern.
